From May 21 to 22,2026, President Xue Hongwei led a delegation from South China Agricultural University (SCAU) to visit the Colombian Rural Development Agency (Agencia de Desarrollo Rural, ADR). The two sides held an in-depth discussion on issueslike agricultural science and technology innovation, food security, agricultural technology extension, and sustainable rural development. President Xue was received by the Director of the Colombian Rural Development Agency. The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), with the signing ceremony witnessed by H.E. Zhu Jingyang, Chinese Ambassador to Colombia.
