On May 21, the Latin America Center of South China Agricultural University (SCAU) was inaugurated at the Escuela Colombiana de Carreras Industriales (ECCI) in Colombia. The Center is established under the framework of the China-Latin America Agricultural Education, Science and Technology Innovation Alliance,which is led by SCAU.The Center will focus on agricultural science and technology, engineering, food science, industrial chain upgrading, and talent cultivation. It aims to promote the coordinated development of Chinese language education and agricultural science and technology cooperation. The Center is designed as a comprehensive platform integrating talent cultivation, scientific innovation, technologytransfer, commercialization of research outcomes, think tank studies, and people-to-people exchanges. Its inauguration marks a new phase of institutionalized and systematic cooperation between SCAU and its Latin American partners.
