Yang Yundong, native of Tengzhou, Shandong Province, was born in July 1965. He took his first job in July 1986. Yang is now Research Associate, Member of the University Council and Vice President of the University. 

He holds a Bachelor degree in Sericulture and a Master degree in Agriculture Extension. From 1986 to 1993, he had been working at the College of Sericulture.  

For the following 20-odd years, he has assumed posts as Director of the President's Office, Director of Office of Logistic Services, Director of Office of Assets Management and the Finance Office. 

For many times Yang has won honors at a provincial level. For instance, Outstanding Teacher of Guangdong Higher Education System (1992), Outstanding Individual for Social Security Comprehensive Management of Guangdong Higher Education Institutes (1998-1999), Outstanding Individual for Logistic Services of Guangdong Higher Education Institutes (2006). He is in charge of affairs related to logistics, infrastructure, security, etc..
