Jiang Yuyan, born in June 1965, took his first job in July 1986. As Accountant and Senior
Agricultural Economics Professional, he is now Vice President and Member of SCAU Council.
He majored in mathematics from September 1982 to July 1986 at South China Normal University and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked as teaching assistant in Department of Mathematics of Jiaying Normal College from July 1986 to September 1988. Jiang earned his Master's degree in Agriculture from South China Agricultural University in March 1991. He worked in the Agriculture Council of Guangdong Province from March 1991 to December 1999. He joined the Department of Agriculture of Guangdong Province from January 2000 to December 2005 amid which he participated in the training courses for high-level management personnel organized by Guangdong Province and studied at University of British Colombia for one year. He worked in the Department of Finance of Guangdong Province from December 2005 to August 2012. He has been awarded "Advanced Individual" etc. several times.
Jiang has rich experience in agriculture and rural affairs research and engages in practical work and research on finance. He organized and participated in the financial management and audit of rural collective economy, presided over the project appraisal, capital allocation, project management and implementation of the overall development of agriculture. Jiang successively published many papers and participated in several research projects on rural economy. He also holds concurrent posts of Standing Member of Rural Finance Seminar of Guangdong Province, Standing Member of Guangdong Research Society of Rural Economy and Vice Chairman/Secretary-General of Guangdong Procurement Research Society.
