Zhong Qiang, a native of Xingguo, Jiangxi province, was born in January 1972. He began
working in July 1995. He is currently the Member of SCAU Council and Vice President of the university.
From September 1991 to July 1995, he received his Bachelor degree in Agricultural Mechanization at SCAU. From September 2008 to June 2011, he received his Master degree in Sinicization of Marxism at SCAU.
From July 1995 to February 1999, he served as the Political Instructor in the College of Engineering at SCAU. From February 1999 to April 2001, he served as Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee in Qiandong town, Raoping county, Chaozhou city. He served as Principal Staff Member of CPC Committee of Administrative Office, United Front Work Department and Organization Department from April 2001 to April 2005. He became Deputy Secretary of Organization Department at SCAU in April 2005. He became General Manager of Administration Department at Guangdong Namyue Group in September 2010. From April 2013 to December 2019, he served as Inspector of Discipline Office, and Director of Administrative Office and United Front Work Department at SCAU. From February 2015 to November 2016, he served as Vice Mayor in Gaozhou. In December 2019, he was appointed as the Member of the University Council and Vice President of SCAU.
