On November 28th, a delegation from MARA University of Technology (UiTM), led by Alexius Korom, Dean of Faculty of Plantation and Agrotechnology, visited SCAU to explore opportunities for agricultural cooperation between SCAU and UiTM.
Head of International Office warmly welcomed the delegation. She said that our university has always attached great importance to the exchange and cooperation of international education. In response to the proposal of the government, SCAU built up Guangdong “Belt and Road Initiative” Innovative Education and Research Training Alliance for agriculture in July, 2019, in the hope that under the framework of this alliance, we can forge a more successful partnership with universities and research institutions in Malaysia.
Alexius Korom noted that theprofound cultural foundation, distinct discipline advantages, well-equipped facilities at SCAU had made a strong impression on the delegation, and he sincerely hoped that both universities will build up partnership and thus stimulate mutual development.
During their visit, the delegation paid a visit to University History Museum and visited around our university.
