At the beginning of the ceremony, Liu Yahong, President of SCAU reviewed the long history of our university and pointed out that we will follow the path of high-quality development to build SCAU into a world-class university with Chinese characteristics in agriculture.

Sun Qixin, President of China Agricultural University, gave a speech as the representative of partner universities.Professor Dolores O’Riordan, Vice President for Global Engagement, University College Dublin(UCD) gave a speech on behalf of SCAU's global partners. She mentioned that SCAU and UCD have benefited a lot from the cooperation in the past decade. In the future, SCAU and UCD will open a new chapter with the hope of establishing an international joint college in early 2020.
Dr. Tong Ka Lok, Vice President, Macau University of Science and Technology(MUST) delivered a speech representing partner universities in Macao and Hong Kong. He indicated that SCAU and MUST will continue the cooperation to provide a firm support of talents and technology for the development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, contributing more to the prosperity of Guangdong, Macao, and even the whole country.

He recognized SCAU’ s achievements in education and hoped that SCAU could achieve its goal as soon as possible.
