Recently, Mr. Peleg Lewi, the Consul General of Israel in Guangzhou visited our university. Prof. Liao Ming, Vice President of SCAU met with the guests.  

Liao Ming noted that our university has highlighted the mutual cooperation with Israeli universities and research institutes and hoped that through this visit, we could have a better understanding of each other and strengthen the cooperation in fields like talent cultivation, collaborative research in horticulture, intelligent agriculture, aquaculture, protected agriculture, water-saving agriculture and so forth.

He also invited the participation of Israeli universities in the construction of Lingnan Modern Agricultural Science and Technology Laboratory in Guangdong Province.

Mr. Peleg Lewi praised our scientific and technological achievements highly and mentioned that he will promote the cooperation between our university and Israeli universities such as the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He also gave best wishes to the 110th anniversary of SCAU.
