Recently, a delegation of 4 led by Dean Ray Kahler, Vice President of University of Idaho, USA paid a visit to SCAU to explore cooperation possibilities in an all-round manner. International Office and members from College of Economics and Management received the delegation.
During the meeting, Mr. Feng Lixin, Director of the International Office, briefed the delegation on SCAU’s cooperation with partner universities, especially with American universities, expecting to carry out substantial cooperation between the two universities in the near future.
Vice President Kahler introduced the University of Idaho and expressed the hope to start the cooperation from exchange of faculty and students.
Vice Dean Tan Ying of College of Economics and Management also presented the disciplines, student exchange programsof the college and so on.
The two sides held a heated discussion. As both sides share common research interests in crop breeding, natural resources and other fields, they intend to start cooperation from exchange programs of faculty and student first.
