President Chen Xiaoyang and his team held two recruitment fairs for the introduction of overseas high-level talents in Rome, Italy and Munich, Germany in May,2017, which attracted much attention of college students in both countries.
The recruitment fair in Rome, Italy on 9th May mainly focused on talents of Arts, while another fair in Munich, Germany on 11th May opened to technology and engineering talents.
In these two fairs, President Chen elaborated the history, course structure, talents cultivation, scientific research and social service of SCAU to the overseas students. He introduced SCAU’s strategic goal and measurements of high-level university establishment, and the policy concerning the introduction of overseas high-level talents. Students are welcomed to come to work in SCAU after graduation.
Students showed great interest in SCAU and required about the conditions of teaching and research, career prospects and welfare and salary.In a vigorous atmosphere, they left their contact details to keep in touch and promised to consistently follow SCAU’s update , in order to work in SCAU after their graduation.
It is known that these two recruitment fairs are significant events in President Chen’s itinerary of visiting Spain, Italy and Germany. These events promote the policy concerning talents introduction in the universities President Chen visited, and also raise SCAU’s profile overseas, which broaden the way of the introduction of overseas high-level talents.
