From May 4th to 13rd, a delegation led by SCAU President Prof. Chen Xiaoyang visited Nebrija University and Consortium Campus Iberus in Spain, Accademia di Belle Arti ACME, Conservatorio di Musica Santa Cecilia di Italia and University of Roma Tor Vergata in Italy, University of Bremen and Technical University of Munich in Germany.
Chancellors and directors of related departments and colleges from visited universities warmly greeted the delegation. The two sides gave introductions to their current situations respectively, and had a fruitful meeting on the forthcoming cooperation. They had also reached several consensuses in joint programmes, exchange visits of teachers, cooperative education and the establishment of joint scientific research platform. In addition, the delegation also visited the laboratories and teaching and scientific research facilities of related universities, learntabout the situations of their management, operation, application and the details about Enterprise-University-Research Institute Cooperation.
Based on the early contact and communication, President Chen has signed five inter-institutional agreements during the visit, including agreements with Nebrija University, Consortium Campus Iberus, Accademia di Belle Arti ACME, University of Roma Tor Vergata, and the Erasmus project implementing agreement with Consortium Campus Iberus. Furthermore, two recruitment fairs have been held in Italy and Germany during the visit, showing that SCAU had expanded its recruitment channels.
The visit not only promoted the inter-institutional cooperative relations between SCAU and European countries, advancing exchanges and cooperation with countries participating inthe “Belt and Road” Initiative, but also completed the signing of inter-institutional agreements with universities from Spain and Italy for the first time. Meanwhile, issues such as opening multilingual language training center like Spanish and Italian will be put on the agenda.
