On March 28, Mr. Per Lennart Larsson, the senior consultant of Linkoping University, with Mr. Yang Zhe, the Swedish Linkoping friendly personage and senior adviser of the international affairs of Linkoping, came to visit SCAU. Both sides negotiated the details of the program of Furniture Design.
Mr. Larsson mentioned that Linkoping and Guangzhou are sister cities. In the past 20 years,two cities have cooperated effectively in city construction and ecological environment protection, so they also hope to have a further communication with universities.
Our teacher from College of Art introduced the general situation of Furniture Design to visitors and showed our students winning works to them. Mr. Larsson gave us an overview of Furniture Design in Linkoping University, including its development history, curriculum, students’ works, etc. Both sides expressed the will to organize student exchange programs and discussed the feasibility. Afterwards, two guests paid a visit to the furniture model studio and integrated material model room in College of Arts.
