Recently, Mr. Bret Sutcliffe, Senior Project Manager of The University of Newcastle (UON) and Nancy Yu, UON’s regional manager in China visited SCAU to discuss issues of Chnese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools.
Feng Lixin, Director of Office of International Relations, Zhao Feng, the secretary of the party committee of College of Forestry and Landscape Architecture, Li Jiyue, Dean of College of Forestry and Landscape Architecture and other concerning staff greeted our guests and held a meeting.
Director Feng introduced some basic information about SCAU and the current situation of SCAU’s Chnese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools. He then analysed the advantageous fields of UON and SCAU which indicated that it was a good timing to promote the international programme jointly.
Mr. Bret Sutcliffe made a detailed introductionto to UON and its strong disciplines. Considering of those disciplines and the solid base of previous collaboration, UON would like to choose SCAU as a partner institution.
During the discussion, both sides exchanged their ideas towards the process of launching the Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools and founding an institution. Afterwards, they will further discuss the way to utilize the advantageous subjects of landscape and garden architecture and create an institution with its own highlights.
