From May 2 to 11, a delegation led by President Chen Xiaoyang visited ISARA-Lyon in France, Bialystok University of Technology in Poland and Wageningen UR in Netherlands. During the visit, SCAU signed inter-institutional cooperative agreements with ISARA-Lyon and Bialystok University of Technology.
SCAU delegation received warm hospitality from Louis Lemoine, President of ISRA-Lyon, Wang Ju, Chinese Consul General in Lyon, Lech Dzienis, President of Bialystok University of Technology, Arthur Mol, President of Wageningen UR and directors of relevant departments and colleges. During their stay in France, President Chen met and exchanged views with Wang Ju, Chinese Consul General in Lyon, and M. Labat, Vice President of Institut Franco-Chinois de Lyon. President Chen went on to visit Institut Franco-Chinois de Lyon.
Representatives of host universities and our delegation briefed on basic information and had productive discussions on details of unfolding cooperation. Participants reached consensus on joint cultivation, staff exchange, and the establishment of collective scientific research platforms. SCAU delegation went on to visit labs, teaching facilities and research platforms, and learned successful experience in cooperating with enterprises.
This visit enhances cooperation between SCAU and European universities, and marks SCAU's very first inter-institutional ties with French and Polish universities.
The visit was joined by Peng Xinxiang, Executive Dean of the Graduate School, and Feng Lixin, Director of the International Office.
