Deng Guo'an, native of Ningyuan, Hunan Province, was born in February 1974. He took his first job in July 1997, and is now Researcher, PhD supervisor and Vice Chairman of SCAU Committee.
From September 1992 to July 1999, Deng studied in Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for seven years, and obtained a bachelor's degree and a master's degree;from September 2003 to July 2006, he studied on the job at Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and obtained a doctorate degree in clinical basics of traditional Chinese medicine. He was promoted to researcher in December 2008; in July 1999, he was appointed as a resident physician of Guangdong Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine; in March 2001, he was appointed as the attending physician of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Since May 2004, he has been in personnel of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In October 2010, he served as the deputy director of the Personnel Department of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
In July 2021, he became Vice Chairman of the University Committee.
