SCAU actively implements the strategy of reinvigorate the university through trained personnel. It gives priority to the disciplines-designing, centers on teaching and research, and advocates humanism, takes it as a keystone to introduce capable professors and cultivate faculty. Over several years¡¯ construction, SCAU has built up a capable teaching group with selfless devotion, top-level academic ability, great working integrity.

professors. The number of those who hold Master¡¯s degree or above is 1281, 427 of which hold Ph. D. degree. There are 1413 teachers under the age of 45, which takes up 89.04% of the total number, and 862 teachers under the age of 35, taking up 54.32%.
We have one academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, 4 members of Academic Degree Committee of State Council, 136 supervisors for Ph.D. candidates, 2 specially invited professors for ¡°Changjiang Scholar Award Program¡±, 6 specially invited professors for ¡°Pearl River Scholar Award Program of Guangdong Province¡±, 3 candidates for the national Oustanding Youth Foundation, 5 national experts with Outstanding Contribution, 7 experts with outstanding contribution of Ministry of Agriculture, 48 experts wining the special allowance of the State Council, 53 candidates for the national top-level talents development plans, 2 winners of the National Wuyi Labor Medal, and 2 national model teachers.
