On April 28th, 2008, Dr. Gale, Director of School of Forest Resources and Environmental Science, Michigan Technological University (MTU) pays a visit to SCAU. President Chen Xiaoyang gives an interview to the guests and extends his warm welcome to them.

Chen speaks of the old days when he visited MTU several years ago, and meanwhile he hopes that the two universities can enhance cooperation in the field of forestry. Dr. Gale expresses her sincere thanks and also sets forth the bright prospect of future cooperation.

Then, the delegation visits the College of Natural Resources and environment as well as the College of Forestry. The two parties discuss the possibilities in collaboration of scientific research and student exchange program in the future.
