Jiang Yuyan
Jiang Yuyan majored in mathematics from September 1982 to July 1986 in South China Normal University and obtained
his Bachelor of Science Degree.
Jiang earned his Master’s degree in Agriculture after his master study in Department of Agricultural Economy
(Presently College of Economics and Management) of South China Agricultural University from September 1988 to March
1991. He worked in the Agriculture Committee of Guangdong Province from March 1991 to December 1999. Jiang worked
in the Department of Agriculture of Guangdong Province from January 2000 to December 2005. Jiang had intensive
English training in Guangdong University of Foreign Studies for 4 months and went to Canada to study at Business
School of British Columbia for 1 year. He worked in the Department of Finance of Guangdong Province from December
organized and participated in the financial management and audit of rural collective economy, presided over the
project appraisal, capital allocation, arrangement, management and implementation of the overall development of
agriculture. Jiang successively published many papers such as : The Study of the Pattern of the International Trade
of Rice (an excellent master's thesis supervised by Professor Wen Simei), Peasants’ Land Issues in the New
Period, A Look at Developing of High-Quality, High-Yield and High-Efficiency Agriculture in Guangdong, An Outlook
on the Rural Economic Development of Guangdong in the 21st century, etc.
